"Customer has Contacts on file" - you can't delete this account!
Have you gotten this message when trying to delete a customer account? Well, here is how you can delete that contact on file.
The steps listed here are starting at the AR Operator Portal.
First, search for the customer by name or number.
Then when the customer's account is on the page, look under Views and Activity for the Contacts link.
Open up the contact information and go to Full Edit.
From the full edit screen, you should be able to delete the specific contact. (You'll need to do the same steps for each contact listed.)
Once you're done, you should be able to go back into Customer Maintenance and delete the customer.
Note: You will not be able to delete a customer is there are invoices on record for the last year.
